Timing

At The Harding Allen Estate, we give you five hours for your wedding, beginning with the ceremony (or the cocktail hour, if you hold your ceremony elsewhere).

On Fridays and Sundays, we normally host only one wedding at a time, so we may be able to accommodate other time slots on those days – ask us for details.

Number of Guests

For weddings on Saturday evenings and the Sundays of holiday weekends, we require a minimum of 150 adult guests.

For weddings on Saturday afternoons, we require a minimum of 50 adult guests, and a maximum of 125 adult guests.

For weddings on Fridays and all other Sundays, we require a minimum of 125 adult guests if you take one of the packages. If you choose the custom pricing, there is no minimum.

Pricing

There are two ways to plan your banquet meal
here at The Harding Allen Estate:
you can choose one of our Wedding Packages,
or you can custom-design your menu.

‘Elegance & Ease’ Wedding Package Terms

We offer four Wedding Packages: the Magnolia, Rose, Lilac, and Hydrangea. Menus, prices and details for each can be found on the following page.

The prices given already include the 18% taxable administrative fee and 5% MA state meals tax. Also, there is no Estate rental fee for any of the Wedding Packages.

Custom Plan Terms

Under the custom plan, there is a fee for renting the Estate. The Estate rental fee is $3,500 plus 5.7% MA occupancy tax for Saturdays and the Sundays of holiday weekends, and $2,900 plus tax for weekdays and all other Sundays.

You may wish to choose the custom menu plan if you do not meet the minimum requirements under the packages, as described above in the Number of Guests section. Also, if you have 200 or more actual guests, you will have an incentive to choose the custom plan. Other reasons might be if you want to serve just one entrée to all your guests, or if you have a special family recipe or ethnic dish you would like to include.

The custom meal price includes the main entrée and hors d’oeuvres, and generally ranges from $40 to $60 per person. This price range does not include the 18% taxable administrative fee and 5% MA state meals tax. Custom-designed menus can only be priced once the meal has been selected and thoroughly developed; some meal selections may exceed $60.
