the Town of Barre
Barre is a secluded, pristine New England town
providing an ideal setting for a relaxing getaway,
hiking, canoeing, cycling, skiing, golfing, and
antiquing. It is centrally located in the heart of
Massachusetts, 25 minutes north of Worcester and less
than 90 minutes west of Boston, an ideal meeting spot
whatever part of the state you're in. Near the Common, a
two-minute walk from the Estate, you will find
restaurants, live theater, and, during the spring, summer
and fall seasons, weekly concerts and activities.
